Information and calculators

Writing and tools are provided for general information. They are not personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and using them does not create a professional advisory relationship.

The TFSA calculator provides an estimate based on the information you enter and the annual limits shown. It assumes you were a Canadian resident with a valid SIN in every eligible year and have made no withdrawals. It does not account for every circumstance that can affect contribution room. Check the stated assumptions, your own records, and CRA guidance before making a contribution. Seek qualified advice when you need help with your circumstances.

Accuracy and availability

I aim to keep the site useful, but information may contain errors or become outdated. Pages and tools may change or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, they are provided as available, without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted access, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Using the content
